Mechanical/Industrial Designer — Comfortable Ear-Hook Wearable Housing (CAD + prototyping)

We're an early-stage health-wearable company building a soft, comfortable over-the-ear device (an ear-hook, leaving the ear canal open) that holds small sensors gently against specific spots around the ear. We need a mechanical/industrial designer to design the physical housing for our first prototype. Scope of this engagement: Design an ergonomic over-the-ear hook in CAD that positions three contact points precisely: a small nub just in front of the ear (at the jaw joint), a pad over the top of the ear, and a contact behind the ear — each held against the skin with gentle, consistent pressure Account for a small PCB, battery, and a vibration motor inside the form Use soft, skin-safe materials and a flexible internal armature so it fits a range of head shapes and is comfortable for all-night wear Deliver 3D-printable prototype files and iterate based on fit testing You're a great fit if you have: experience designing worn/wearable or ear-worn products (earbuds, hearing aids, glasses, headsets), strong CAD skills, knowledge of soft-touch materials and overmolding, and a feel for ergonomics and human factors.
