Mechanical Engineer Needed – Compact Wearable Electronics Enclosure I am looking for an experienced mechanical engineer to design a professional enclosure for a compact wearable electronic golf device. The electronics have already been designed and assembled. I need an enclosure that is attractive, durable, comfortable to wear, and suitable for both prototype production and future injection molding. Requirements: • Design enclosure for a custom PCB • Overall target size: approximately 30 × 20 × 10 mm • Internal space for: - Custom PCB - Rechargeable LiPo battery - Vibration motor • External access for: - USB-C charging port - Power switch - Calibration button - Status LED • Integrated attachment system for securing the device to golf shoe laces • Lightweight and comfortable while walking and swinging • Durable and resistant to sweat, dust, and light rain • Maximize vibration transfer while minimizing unwanted rattling • Clean, modern consumer-product appearance • Designed for 3D printing with consideration for future injection molding Deliverables: • Complete 3D CAD model • Native CAD files (SolidWorks or Fusion 360 preferred) • STEP file • STL files • Assembly drawings • Exploded view • Engineering drawings with dimensions and tolerances • Recommendations for manufacturing and assembly Files Provided: • PCB STEP file • PCB dimensions • Component height information • Mounting requirements • Product logo • Additional design details after project acceptance Preferred Qualifications: • Consumer electronics enclosure design • Wearable product experience • Injection-molded plastic design • Snap-fit and small mechanical assembly experience • Portfolio of similar projects Please include examples of previous enclosure designs or consumer electronic products you have designed. Budget: Fixed price preferred. The goal is a compact, premium-quality enclosure that is ready for prototyping and can be easily transitioned into production.
