Media Buyer & Performance Analyst — High-Volume Execution. Fast Iteration. Clear Reporting.
Worldwide
About This Role We're a transformation design studio running paid traffic campaigns across Meta, Google, and Microsoft Ads — for our own products, list-building funnels, and affiliate programs in finance, health, and wellness niches. Strategy and playbooks are defined. Your job is to execute at high volume, iterate fast to find winners, watch the numbers obsessively, and keep leadership informed daily. Our approach is micro-testing: launch multiple creative and audience variations quickly, read the data fast, kill losers, scale winners, repeat. You don't wait for weekly reviews to make a call — you're checking campaigns multiple times a day and making adjustments in real time. This role requires availability across the full week, including weekends. Thursday through Sunday are the highest-traffic days for our target audiences and the most critical monitoring windows. Monday is the lightest day and the most likely day off. Tuesday through Sunday, some level of campaign work is expected every day. What You're Doing Campaign Execution and Micro-Testing Run active campaigns across Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads simultaneously Execute high-volume creative and audience testing — structured A/B tests, one variable at a time, fast iteration cycles Check in on live campaigns multiple times daily; adjust bids, budgets, audiences, and creatives based on real-time performance Kill underperformers early, reallocate budget to winners immediately — no waiting Follow the weekly campaign rhythm: Monday/Tuesday — refine, build, and launch new campaigns; Wednesday — confirm full slate is ready; Thursday through Sunday — peak monitoring and optimization windows, especially Friday and Saturday which are highest-traffic days; early kills get replaced Thursday/Friday so a full slate is running into the weekend Track against dual conversion goals: direct revenue (pay-per-click affiliate) and email opt-in / list-building (cost per lead targets alongside ROAS/CPA) Understand that list-building campaigns aim to break even or better while capturing opt-ins — the list is the asset Audience Management Build and manage custom audiences, lookalikes, and retargeting pools across all three platforms Upload email captures to seed lookalike audiences and close the list-building loop Maintain clean audience architecture — no overlap, no waste Creative Briefing Brief the design and video team on what creative angles to test next, based on performance data You don't make the ads — you make the case to senior creatives and management team what the data says to try Flag creative patterns that are working or failing and translate that into actionable direction Performance Reporting Prepare daily campaign performance summaries for leadership — data ready, not raw numbers Produce twice-weekly consolidated reports covering both paid and organic performance Build toward AI-assisted and automated reporting pipelines where possible Report on what's working, what isn't, and what the next test should be — not data dumps, decisions Platform Discipline and Organization Maintain strict naming conventions across all campaigns, ad sets, and creative assets on every platform Manage pixel and tracking setup with precision — clean data is non-negotiable Keep all campaign documentation organized and current in Notion Leverage AI tools to assist with analysis, pattern recognition, and report generation Navigate restricted and special ad categories (financial services, health, wellness) — know how to structure campaigns within platform policy without triggering rejections or account flags Funnel and Landing Page Coordination Monitor landing page and funnel conversion rates alongside campaign data Flag when the bottleneck is the page, not the campaign — you don't build the funnel, but you read the full-funnel numbers and escalate problems What We're Looking For Hands-on experience on Meta, Google Ads, and Microsoft Ads Experience with micro-testing and high-volume creative iteration Daily campaign monitoring and real-time optimization Experience in finance, health, or wellness ad categories Structured A/B testing methodology Restricted/special category ad experience on Meta or Google Strict naming, tracking, and organizational standards Audience management: custom audiences, lookalikes, retargeting Dual-metric thinking: revenue AND cost-per-opt-in AI-assisted analysis or reporting tools English fluency Latin America timezone Microsoft Ads (formerly Bing Ads) is a hard requirement — not a plus. How to Apply Three questions — concise answers only: Walk us through a paid campaign you managed using rapid creative testing. How many variations, how did you decide what to kill and what to scale, and what did the results look like? Microsoft Ads specifically: what have you run on that platform, what's different from Meta or Google, and what are its current limitations you work around? Describe your reporting system. How do you prepare daily and weekly performance summaries, and how do you make sure the data leads to a decision rather than a discussion? Project Details Rate: $10–$15/hr depending on experience Hours: Part-time, 20 hrs/week minimum — distributed across the full week including weekends. Thursday–Sunday are mandatory monitoring days; Friday and Saturday are peak. Monday is the most likely day off. If this schedule doesn't work for you, this role is not the right fit. Platforms: Meta Ads, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads + organic analytics (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube) Campaigns: Affiliate marketing, pay-per-click, traffic-to-conversion funnels, and email list-building campaigns Niches: Financial services (auto insurance, credit), health, and wellness/abundance Tools: Native ad platforms, GHL, Notion, AI analysis tools, Slack/Missive About Us codeswitcher builds AI-powered marketing and operations systems. We run paid traffic at high volume with a clear methodology: test fast, read the data, find winners, scale. The Media Buyer & Performance Analyst is the engine of that loop — executing campaigns, reporting daily, briefing creatives, and keeping the entire paid and organic operation legible for leadership. Discipline, organization, and speed are non-negotiable.
