Part-Time Podcast Producer & Social Media Content Creator e2D World School | Heart Heroes Initiative | Kahar Music Job Type: Fixed-Price Monthly Contract Budget: Negotiable — propose your monthly rate Volume: 4 podcast episodes per month Schedule: Part-time, flexible, fully remote Platforms: YouTube (primary), Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook ABOUT THIS ROLE We are looking for a creative, self-driven podcast producer and social media content creator to help build a growing multi-mission media presence across education, public health, and cultural impact. You will own the end-to-end production of 4 podcast episodes per month — from shoot to published content — and create short-form social media content that grows our audience organically on YouTube and beyond. This is a ground-floor opportunity. We are building steadily toward YouTube monetization and a loyal community audience. The right person will grow with us. Heart Heroes Initiative (501c3) A nonprofit with a 3.6M+ community reach training life-saving CPR skills. Our podcast amplifies stories of community health champions and advocates. Kahar Music Bengali-language original music celebrating cultural identity and diaspora stories — a growing creative brand with its own podcast and content track. SCOPE OF WORK Podcast Production (4 Episodes/Month) • Coordinate episode scheduling with host and guests • Support or lead video recording setup (remote or in-person when applicable) • Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube — clean audio, captions, lower thirds, intro/outro • Export and upload episodes to YouTube with SEO-optimized titles, descriptions, and tags • Suggest episode themes and guest topics aligned with our missions Short-Form Content & Reels (Per Episode) • Cut 2-4 highlight clips per episode for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts • Add captions, music, transitions, and branding to all short-form clips • Write compelling hooks and captions optimized for each platform • Schedule and post content across platforms on a consistent cadence Channel Growth & Monetization Strategy • Implement YouTube SEO best practices — thumbnails, titles, descriptions, playlists • Design eye-catching custom thumbnails for each episode • Monitor channel analytics and provide a brief monthly performance report • Recommend strategies to grow subscribers toward YouTube Partner Program eligibility (1,000 subscribers / 4,000 watch hours) • Identify opportunities for sponsorship, affiliate links, or community memberships as the channel grows MONTHLY DELIVERABLES Deliverable Quantity Platform Full podcast episodes produced & uploaded 4 YouTube Short-form highlight reels per episode 2–4 clips Reels / Shorts / TikTok Custom episode thumbnails 4 YouTube Caption files (.srt) for accessibility 4 YouTube Monthly analytics report 1 All platforms Social media posts (captions + scheduling) 8–16 IG / FB / TikTok REQUIRED SKILLS Video Production & Editing: • Proficient in video editing software — Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut • Experience editing podcast-style interview content (talking-head format) • Ability to add captions, lower thirds, intro/outro animations, and B-roll • Short-form reel editing with hooks, captions, and platform-native formatting Social Media & Growth: • YouTube channel management and SEO (titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, end screens) • Custom thumbnail design (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent) • Understanding of YouTube algorithm, watch time, and monetization milestones • Experience growing a channel from early stage is a strong plus • Familiarity with Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook video formats Preferred: • Experience with podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Buzzsprout, Anchor) • Basic graphic design for episode artwork and social assets • Understanding of nonprofit or educational content — mission-driven storytelling • Experience with closed captions and accessibility compliance COMPENSATION This is a fixed-price monthly contract. We are open to proposals — please include your suggested monthly rate in your application along with examples of channels or content you have grown. Long-term partnership and expanded scope are available as the projects scale.
