Job Overview We are looking for a talented 3D Medical Animator / Motion Graphics Designer with proven experience creating anatomy-based animations and visual effects for advertising content. Your role will focus on producing realistic medical animations, anatomy overlays, and motion graphics that help viewers instantly understand where pain originates, what may be happening inside the body, and how relief is visually represented. You should be comfortable combining 3D animation, 2D motion graphics, compositing, and visual effects to create premium-quality advertising creatives for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Examples of the Type of Work We are specifically looking for someone who can create: * Realistic 2D and 3D spine (vertebrae) animations * Medical visualizations of lumbar spinal stenosis, particularly at L4/L5 and L5/S1 * Anatomical animations illustrating laminectomy, spinal fusion, and decompression surgery * Animations showing nerve compression, pressure on spinal structures, and related anatomy * Visual sequences demonstrating the spine appearing to collapse or compress under mechanical stress * Red glowing pain effects to highlight irritated or painful areas * Green or blue glowing effects to illustrate relief or reduced pressure * Spine, nerve, skeletal, and anatomy overlays composited onto existing live-action B-roll footage * Motion graphics that identify specific vertebrae, discs, nerves, and anatomical regions * Educational explainer animations that simplify complex spinal concepts for a broad audience * Smooth visual transitions between “pain” and “relief” states using professional visual effects Key Responsibilities * Create high-quality 2D and 3D medical animations for advertising campaigns * Design realistic spine, vertebrae, nerve, and musculoskeletal visualizations * Produce surgery-related animations, including spinal stenosis, decompression procedures, laminectomy, and spinal fusion * Add anatomy overlays and visual effects to existing B-roll footage * Integrate pain highlights, nerve visualizations, and relief effects into advertising creatives * Collaborate closely with the creative and marketing team to translate concepts into compelling visuals * Optimize animations for Meta, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form platforms * Deliver high-quality assets with fast turnaround times for ongoing creative testing Requirements * Proven experience creating medical, anatomical, orthopedic, rehabilitation, or healthcare-related animations * Strong portfolio demonstrating realistic anatomy visualizations and motion graphics * Experience producing spine, nerve, skeletal, or musculoskeletal animations * Experience compositing anatomy overlays and visual effects onto live-action footage (e.g. spine overlays, nerve highlights, pain/relief glow effects) * Proficiency with software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Autodesk Maya, Adobe After Effects, Unreal Engine, or equivalent * Strong understanding of lighting, animation, compositing, and visual storytelling * Ability to simplify complex medical concepts through engaging visuals * Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to iterate based on feedback Preferred Experience * Experience creating animations related to: * Back pain * Neck pain * Shoulder pain * Sciatica * Herniated discs * Spinal stenosis * Nerve compression * Orthopedic products * Rehabilitation * Spine surgery and post-surgical anatomy Important We are specifically seeking applicants with experience in medical animation, anatomy visualization, orthopedic content, rehabilitation, or pain relief advertising.
