This individual will play a critical role in ensuring our organization remains compliant with state and payer requirements while maintaining the highest standards of medical billing accuracy. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. ### Responsibilities * Perform internal clinical and billing audits to ensure documentation accuracy and compliance. * Review patient charts for billing accuracy, coding integrity, and regulatory compliance. * Ensure the practice remains compliant with state and healthcare regulations. * Process and manage prior authorizations efficiently and accurately. * Review claims for errors and identify opportunities to improve reimbursement. * Work closely with providers and clinical staff to resolve documentation and billing issues. * Monitor compliance with payer policies and internal procedures. * Assist with workflow improvements and quality assurance initiatives. * Serve as an additional set of eyes for the clinical and administrative team to identify potential issues before they become problems. ### Qualifications * Extensive experience in **medical billing** is required. * Strong background in **medical auditing** and healthcare compliance. * Experience with prior authorizations for multiple insurance carriers. * Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and medical documentation requirements. * Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload with minimal supervision. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. * Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with providers and staff. ### Work Requirements * Must be available to work **Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST**. * Must have reliable high-speed internet. * Must have a **working microphone and webcam**. * Must be comfortable being on **Zoom throughout the workday**, including attending meetings and communicating with staff in real time. * Must be available to join Zoom meetings on short notice when operational needs require. * Must be comfortable communicating directly with clinical staff, providers, and other team members. We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, and takes ownership of their work. This position is essential to helping our organization maintain compliance, maximize reimbursement, and support our clinical team through accurate billing, auditing, and operational oversight.
