Medical Billing Specialist – ERA Posting in Tebra & NextGen Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to assist with Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) posting in Tebra (Kareo) and NextGen. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with medical billing, payment posting, insurance reconciliation, and working within practice management systems. Responsibilities Post Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) payments accurately in Tebra and NextGen. Review and reconcile insurance payments, adjustments, denials, and patient responsibility amounts. Identify and report payment discrepancies. Ensure timely and accurate posting of all insurance and patient payments. Verify claim adjudication and payment accuracy. Maintain detailed records and documentation. Collaborate with billing staff to resolve posting and reconciliation issues. Requirements Proven experience with ERA posting in medical billing. Hands-on experience with Tebra (formerly Kareo) and/or NextGen. Strong understanding of EOBs, ERAs, insurance adjustments, and denial management. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and medical billing workflows. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with multiple specialties. Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers. Prior experience in a U.S.-based medical billing environment.
