We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated individual with experience in medical billing/coding/revenue cycle management in behavioral health for both commercial and Medicaid insurance. Responsibilities include: • Review clinical documentation and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes. • Ensure coding complies with CMS, AMA, payer, and regulatory guidelines. • Identify documentation deficiencies and communicate coding recommendations. • Perform coding quality audits and correct coding discrepancies. • Assist with claim edits, denials, and coding-related appeals. • Maintain productivity and accuracy standards while meeting turnaround times. • Stay current on annual coding updates and payer policy changes. • Collaborate with billing and revenue cycle teams to improve reimbursement and reduce denials.
