Medical Virtual Assistant | Psychiatry | Insurance Billing & Scheduling

We are looking for a full-time Virtual Assistant to become a long-term member of our growing private psychiatry practice. This position is for someone who is highly organized, dependable, and experienced supporting a U.S. medical office. Previous psychiatry or behavioral health experience is a major plus. Responsibilities * Schedule and confirm patient appointments * Respond professionally to patient inquiries * Insurance verification * Follow up on unpaid insurance claims * Resolve billing denials * Assist with prior authorizations (preferred) * Maintain accurate patient records * Administrative support * Basic marketing tasks * Follow up with new patient leads * Keep the provider organized and ensure nothing falls through the cracks Preferred Qualifications * Experience working for a U.S. medical practice * Medical billing and insurance claims experience * Experience with SimplePractice (highly preferred) * Excellent written and spoken English * Strong attention to detail * Reliable high-speed internet * Quiet home office We Are Looking For Someone Who Is * Honest and dependable * A proactive problem solver * Organized and detail-oriented * Friendly and professional with patients * Comfortable learning new software * Interested in a long-term position
