We are looking for an extremely competent and reliable medical administrative professional to join our practice in a remote support role. This position requires someone with native-level English, a very strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and multiple years of hands-on experience in medication prior authorizations, Cover My Meds, and eClinicalWorks (eCW). This is **not an entry-level role**. We need someone who can step in with confidence, communicate professionally with staff, pharmacies, and insurance companies, and handle a fast-paced workflow with accuracy and consistency. Core Responsibilities - Complete medication prior authorizations accurately and efficiently - Follow up with insurance companies, pharmacies, and staff regarding PA status, denials, and approvals - Use eClinicalWorks (eCW) confidently for chart review, task management, documentation support, appeals, and authorizations - Communicate clearly and professionally with staff - Maintain organization across multiple ongoing tasks without needing constant oversight Requirements - Native-level English required, both spoken and written - Multiple years of experience in all of the following: - Medication prior authorizations - eClinicalWorks (eCW) - Excel or similar - Strong understanding of insurance workflows, payer communication, and medication authorization processes - Extensive experience completing prior authorizations for specialty medications including: - PrEP medications - Egrifta (tesamorelin) - HIV treatment authorization including Cabenuva, Descovy, etc. - GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.) - Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) medications - Other specialty medication authorizations - Able to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy - Highly dependable, responsive, and accountable - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Professional, calm, and patient-centered communication style - Able to follow systems and SOPs while also using good independent judgment Ideal Candidate - Has worked in a busy outpatient medical practice - Knows how to manage competing priorities without dropping details - Can represent the practice well on the phone - Takes ownership of tasks and follows through completely - Does not require heavy hand-holding or repeated instruction - Is proactive, efficient, and highly organized To Apply Please include the following in your proposal: - Your years of experience with eClinicalWorks - Your experience with medication prior authorizations - Examples of the kinds of medical practices you have worked in - Your availability and time zone - A short paragraph explaining why you are a strong fit for this role We are looking for someone exceptional, not average.
