Memoir Outline & Ghostwriter Needed (15,000–25,000 Words)

Project Description: We are seeking an experienced ghostwriter to collaborate with an author on a memoir of approximately 15,000–25,000 words (roughly 60 pages or less). The memoir centers on the author's experiences in an abusive and controlling marriage to a member of the military. It explores sensitive topics including domestic abuse, emotional trauma, resilience, and healing. The goal is to tell the author's story in an honest, compassionate, and engaging way while maintaining the author's authentic voice. Project Scope: Meet with the author to learn about their experiences and vision for the book. Develop a detailed chapter-by-chapter outline for approval. Ghostwrite the completed memoir (15,000–25,000 words) based on interviews and author feedback. Revise the manuscript as needed based on author input. Ideal Candidate: Experienced in memoir or autobiography ghostwriting. Comfortable working with sensitive subject matter, including abuse and trauma. Strong interviewing and storytelling skills. Able to write with empathy while preserving the author's voice. Excellent communication and collaboration throughout the project.
