Meta Ads Creative Strategist – AI / Developer Product
Worldwide
We’re Standard Compute, an AI infrastructure company looking for a creative strategist to help us build Meta/Facebook Ads essentially from the ground up. Standard Compute gives developers access to powerful AI models with predictable monthly pricing, with intelligent model routing designed to optimize how AI workloads are handled. We’re looking for someone who can understand BOTH Meta advertising and the world our customers live in. ## The Role We want to keep our Meta setup SIMPLE. Initially, we're thinking: * One main campaign * Simple ad-set structure, potentially based around personas/angles * Website conversions * Heavy focus on creative testing * Mostly static/image ads initially * Video added when we find concepts worth expanding We don't need someone who wants to build 20 campaigns and constantly change campaign settings. We need someone who can consistently find new reasons for people to care about Standard Compute. ## Creative Strategy Is the Main Job Initially, we'd like to produce and test approximately 20–30 new creative concepts per month. You'll be responsible for: * Finding new customer personas * Developing hooks and angles * Writing ad concepts, headlines and copy * Creating or briefing static/image ads * Researching competitors * Researching Reddit, Facebook groups, X and other AI communities * Finding trends, discussions, pain points, memes and opportunities we can turn into ads * Launching and managing Meta campaigns * Analyzing which concepts and angles are winning * Using performance data to determine what we test next * Iterating on winners ## You Need to Understand Standard Compute This part is important. We don't want someone who only understands Facebook Ads. You'll need to spend time learning Standard Compute, how the product works, who uses it and the wider AI ecosystem around it. You should become comfortable with topics such as: * AI inference * Model routing * OpenAI / Claude / Gemini / DeepSeek and other models * API usage and token-based pricing * Coding agents * AI agents * Developers running large AI workloads * Cost and usage limits * Why someone would choose Standard Compute over alternatives You don't need to be an AI engineer when you start. But you DO need to be curious enough to learn this world. If there's a funny trend happening around Claude, a developer meme taking off, people complaining about token costs, or a new model everyone is talking about, we want you to understand it well enough to recognize the advertising opportunity. The better you understand the customer, product and AI ecosystem, the better the creative will be. ## Who We're Looking For Ideally, you: * Have experience running Meta Ads * Understand direct-response creative strategy * Are very good at finding hooks and angles * Can systematically test creative * Can analyze performance and turn it into the next round of ideas * Are genuinely interested in AI * Enjoy researching communities and understanding what customers are talking about * Can work independently and proactively Experience marketing SaaS, AI, developer tools or technical products is a big plus. ## Starting Scope We're initially looking at approximately $500/month. We want to start lean, build a simple system and see whether we can acquire customers profitably through Meta. If it works, we want to scale. That means: More ad spend → more creatives → more responsibility → larger role and compensation. We're looking for someone who could potentially stay with Standard Compute long term and eventually take significant ownership of Meta as an acquisition channel. ## To Apply Please answer: 1. What Meta accounts/products have you worked on previously? 2. Show us examples of creatives you've developed and the results. 3. How do you normally find new hooks and angles? 4. What experience do you have with AI, SaaS or developer products? 5. Take 10–15 minutes to research Standard Compute. Tell us one Meta ad concept you would test first and why. Please start your application with "META AI" so we know you read the full post.
