Job title: Meta Media Buyer / Facebook Ads — US Shopify Wellness DTC (performance-focused) Description: We're a US-focused Shopify wellness brand — the first store in a growing e-commerce company. The store is live, we have sales, and our tracking and funnel are proven. We're now focused on making paid acquisition profitable and then scaling it. We're looking for a Meta media buyer who genuinely understands DTC unit economics — not a "boost the post" generalist. What you'll do: - Own Meta campaign setup, testing, and daily management (ABO testing → CBO scaling) - Build a clean creative-testing methodology and brief our creative producer on what to make - Audience strategy — broad / Advantage+, interest, lookalike, retargeting - Keep Pixel + Conversions API firing and accurate - Make kill/scale decisions against clear thresholds - Report performance clearly and diagnose across the full funnel — creative, audience, page, offer - Keep all ad copy compliant with Meta's wellness policy (no medical claims) What success looks like: - Hero funnel consistently above breakeven ROAS, trending toward target - Cost per purchase down to a profitable level - A stable winning creative plus at least one backup - Clean tracking, clean reporting, decisions made on data You're a strong fit if you: - Have run real DTC / e-commerce Meta accounts and can show results with actual numbers - Have taken a store from testing to profitable scale (or close to it) - Know ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, CPM, AOV, margin and breakeven cold - Can set up and troubleshoot Pixel + CAPI - Communicate well asynchronously and work independently - Bonus: health/wellness experience, Klaviyo, UGC direction, scaling on a lean budget How we work: We value demonstrated results over claims, profit over vanity revenue, and genuine ownership. We're budget-conscious — every dollar of spend has a clear case. To apply — please read, generic proposals won't be considered: 1. Start your proposal by answering this: *A US wellness store sells a single ~$46 product, ~$24 margin per sale, ~1.9x breakeven ROAS, and is currently making sales at a ~$48 cost per purchase. What are the first three things you'd do, and why?* 2. Then include 2–3 accounts you've run, with real numbers — spend managed, starting vs. scaled ROAS/CPA, and over what timeframe. Shortlisted candidates will have a short interview walking through a real account you've managed, followed by a small paid trial before any ongoing work.
