Meta Ads Strategist + Creative Direction for WhatsApp Sales Launch — Fluent Spanish Required

Summary

We are relaunching Ultralight, an established weight-management supplement brand in the Dominican Republic, and we are looking for a Meta Ads performance strategist who can combine: 1. Paid advertising strategy 2. Performance creative direction 3. Meta Ads campaign setup 4. Optimization based on real conversations and sales This is not a role for someone who only creates campaigns or provides generic marketing recommendations. Language requirement Native or fluent Spanish is mandatory. All communication, strategy documents, creative briefs, reports, and recommendations must be delivered in Spanish. Business context Ultralight has approximately 12 years of history, brand recognition, previous customers, an existing Meta advertising account, WhatsApp sales, a completed brand strategy, a new visual identity, an editor, and a CRM currently being implemented. The initial market is the Dominican Republic. WhatsApp will be the main sales channel. We will provide: * The existing brand strategy * Product architecture and priorities * Historical Meta Ads access * Available creative assets * Product and market information * Access to the editor for production based on approved briefs You will not be responsible for redesigning the brand, implementing the CRM, or editing the videos. Scope of work Phase 1 — Audit and launch preparation Review the existing advertising account and identify: * Previous campaigns and ads * Available performance data * Cost per conversation * Strong and weak creative formats * Audience and campaign structure issues * Budget fragmentation * Ad fatigue * Policy risks * Tracking limitations * Actionable opportunities Then develop a concrete launch plan that defines: * Initial campaign structure * Campaign objective * Audiences * Placements * Budget allocation * Number of campaigns, ad sets, and ads * Testing plan * Optimization rules * Measurement plan * Risks and contingency actions Creative direction Create an executable performance creative plan for the launch. We need: * 4 distinct advertising concepts * At least 3 hooks for each concept * Recommended formats and durations * Clear audience and objective for each concept * Complete production briefs for the editor * Scripts or scene-by-scene instructions where applicable * On-screen text * CTA * Copy recommendations * Creative variations to test * Relevant Meta policy considerations Creative direction must be detailed enough for our editor to execute without guessing. Phase 2 — Campaign launch and optimization You will: * Build the campaigns inside Meta Ads Manager * Configure campaigns, ad sets, ads, budgets, audiences, placements, naming, and WhatsApp destination * Confirm that ads and WhatsApp flow work correctly * Monitor approvals, delivery, spend, conversations, and sales feedback * Optimize campaigns for 10 days after launch * Pause weak ads * Maintain controls and test challengers * Redistribute budget when supported by performance * Recommend or request new creative variations * Document important decisions * Deliver a final report with results and next actions Success criteria We are not interested only in clicks or cheap conversations. The goal is to generate qualified WhatsApp conversations and buyers. The work must connect: * Ad * Conversation * Product interest * Recommendation * Price sent * Purchase * Purchase value We understand that historical sales tracking may be incomplete. The audit must clearly distinguish confirmed data from assumptions. Required experience Please apply only if you have demonstrated experience with: * Meta Ads * WhatsApp sales or messaging campaigns * Performance creative strategy * Physical consumer products * Campaign optimization after launch * Spanish-speaking markets * Meta advertising policies Experience with wellness, beauty, supplements, or weight-management products is strongly preferred. Budget and milestones Fixed-price budget: US$600 Milestone 1 — Audit, launch strategy, creative matrix, and production briefs: US$250 Milestone 2 — Campaign setup, launch, 10 days of optimization, and final report: US$350 Do not submit a milestone for payment before all corresponding deliverables have been completed and submitted through Upwork. Important We already have a brand strategy, visual identity, CRM implementer, and video editor. We are looking for the professional who can connect those resources and turn them into a creative, measurable, and properly optimized Meta Ads launch. Please do not send a generic proposal.
