Meta Ads Video Editor – Adapt Competitor Creatives into French and German

We are looking for a freelance video editor who specializes in creating and adapting Facebook and Instagram ads for e-commerce brands. The main objective is to analyze competitor creatives that we provide and adapt them to our brand and products for the French and German markets. Responsibilities You will be responsible for: * Analyzing the structure, hook, pacing, and marketing angle of competitor ads * Adapting scripts into natural French or German, depending on our needs * Replacing the original voice-over with a professional French or German voice-over * Translating, rewriting, and synchronizing subtitles * Replacing scenes showing the competitor’s product with our own product * Using generative AI video tools to recreate or modify product scenes * Integrating our packaging, branding, logo, colors, and marketing claims * Adapting calls to action to match our current offer * Creating multiple variations of hooks, intros, voice-overs, and subtitles * Delivering creatives in Meta Ads formats such as 9:16, 4:5, and 1:1 The goal is not to copy competitor ads exactly. The objective is to use their successful structure, concept, and marketing angle as inspiration, then create an original version adapted to our brand. Required Skills * Proven experience editing Meta Ads for e-commerce brands * Strong understanding of direct-response advertising and conversion-focused video editing * Fluent or highly proficient in French * Good command of German, or the ability to produce natural and accurate German adaptations * Experience with AI-generated voice-overs * Experience with generative AI video tools * Ability to replace a competitor product with another product inside a video scene * Strong subtitle editing and synchronization skills * Good understanding of hooks and the importance of the first three seconds * Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or similar software Experience with tools such as Runway, Kling, Veo, Pika, Nano Banana, ElevenLabs, or HeyGen is a strong advantage. Workflow For each creative, we will provide: * The competitor ad reference * Videos and images of our product * Product packaging files * Our logo and branding assets * Marketing copy and product claims * The required language * Voice-over and subtitle instructions The freelancer will be expected to: 1. Adapt and submit the script for approval 2. Begin editing once the script is approved 3. Deliver the first draft 4. Apply the requested revisions 5.
