Meta Media Buyer — High-Spend DTC ($100k+/month, scaling) — Long-term
Worldwide
We're an established Australian DTC brand (~$10M/yr, big-ticket 2.5K+ products: pool tables, kegerators, arcade machines, the lot). We're scaling Meta hard, currently A$3–5k/day, growing to ~A$10k/day by year's end, and we're looking for one genuinely elite media buyer to own that spend. This is the most important seat on our marketing team. We'll pay properly for the right person, and we're planning to work together for years, not weeks. Read this carefully, we're screening hard. This is a pure media-buying role. You are not the strategist and not the creative, we have a marketing manager who briefs budget, forecast and spend, and a creative team who provides the ads. Your job is to run that spend brilliantly and scale it profitably. What you'll own: Day-to-day management of our Meta (Facebook/Instagram) account at A$3–5k/day and up Account structure, audiences, bidding, budget scaling, testing cadence Profitable scaling, protecting ROAS/CAC as spend climbs Clean measurement (pixel/CAPI, offline events) and weekly reporting on ROAS, CAC, spend and blended performance You must have: A real track record personally managing $100k+/month in Meta spend (not your agency's total, yours) DTC ecommerce results you can prove with account screenshots Overlap with Australian business hours — this is a hard requirement, no exceptions To be genuinely hands-on (you run the account, not a junior) To apply, answer these directly (generic proposals get deleted): Your proudest account: the brand, the product, the price point, and the monthly spend you personally managed on it. Your best result: where the account started and where you took it, ROAS/CAC/revenue, over what timeframe, with real numbers (screenshots welcome). The highest monthly Meta spend you have personally run, and the account it was on. Are you the person running the account day to day, or a team? Who touches the account? Location, timezone, and the hours you can overlap with Sydney (AEST). The nuance question: For a $2,000+ considered purchase where the buyer researches for weeks and a large share of sales actually close over the phone, not on-site, how do you structure and measure Meta so you're scaling on real revenue rather than cheap leads or in-platform last-click ROAS? Walk me through your tracking, the events you optimise for, your attribution window, and how you'd deal with low daily conversion volume at the campaign level. Your preferred commercial structure (we favour a base + performance model tied to profitable scale). A client reference at a similar spend level. Start your proposal with the word "MANCAVE" so we know you actually read this.
