Summary

Description: We required a remote IT technician to support the migration of a small business (8 mailboxes) from SiteGround IMAP email hosting to Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, including one mailbox of 120GB+. Scope of work completed: • Microsoft 365 tenant setup and user account creation via Giacom partner portal • Licence assignment and mailbox provisioning for 8 users • Email migration from SiteGround IMAP to Exchange Online using migration tooling • Remote laptop configuration — Outlook profile setup and M365 account deployment across multiple user PCs • Troubleshooting duplicate sent folder mapping from legacy IMAP structure and merging into correct Exchange Sent Items folder • DMARC DNS record configuration for the client domain • Remote troubleshooting session with end user to resolve Outlook desktop search and cached mode performance issues on a 120GB mailbox • Research and client communication on iOS Apple Mail search limitations with Exchange ActiveSync • Coordination with on-site engineer for device setup and cutover support Skills: Microsoft 365 Administration, Exchange Online, Email Migration, DNS Management, Outlook Troubleshooting, Remote IT Support
