Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer – ETL Pipelines, Lakehouse & Automated Marketing Reporting
Worldwide
We're a marketing agency looking for an experienced Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer to design and build our end-to-end data infrastructure — from raw data ingestion to automated client-facing dashboards. About the Project: We manage multiple client accounts and need a centralized, scalable data pipeline that consolidates marketing performance data and delivers real-time reporting without manual work. What You'll Do: • Build ETL/ELT pipelines in Microsoft Fabric to extract data from multiple sources: Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and client-specific APIs • Load and organize data into a Fabric Lakehouse following Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) • Design clean, standardized data models to support consistent reporting across multiple clients • Implement data governance practices — access controls, data lineage tracking, and clear separation between client datasets to ensure security and compliance • Build automated pipelines feeding Power BI dashboards, eliminating manual reporting • Implement key marketing metrics: ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rate, churn prediction, and campaign performance • Set up data quality checks and validation to catch broken pipelines, schema changes, or missing data before it reaches dashboards • Document pipeline architecture and data flow clearly enough for our internal team to understand and maintain • Ensure pipelines are scalable as we onboard new clients and data sources Requirements: • Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory pipelines) • Strong ETL/ELT and Medallion Architecture experience • Experience integrating marketing/ad platform APIs (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics) and CRM systems • Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and Python • Experience building and optimizing Power BI dashboards connected to automated data sources • Familiarity with predictive modeling (churn prediction a plus) • Strong communication skills — able to explain technical decisions to a non-technical marketing team • Available for ongoing collaboration, not just a one-time build (we need someone to maintain and evolve the pipeline as we scale) Nice to Have: • Experience working with multiple clients/accounts in a single unified data model • Background in agency or e-commerce data environments • Experience with CI/CD or version control (Git) for pipeline management To Apply: Please share relevant Microsoft Fabric projects you've built, especially any involving marketing/ad data or multi-client reporting systems.
