Microsoft Power Apps & Power Automate Developer – Mileage Reimbursement Workflow

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform developer to build a custom Mileage Reimbursement Request application using Microsoft 365 technologies. This is a fixed-price, project-based engagement. We are not looking for a full-time developer, but we hope to establish a relationship for future workflow automation projects if this engagement is successful. Current Environment Our organization currently uses: Microsoft 365 Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) Microsoft Teams SharePoint Online Power Automate Microsoft Lists BambooHR (HRIS) ConnectWise PSA QuickBooks What We Need We have already completed the business analysis and designed the workflow. We are looking for someone to build the application and recommend Microsoft best practices where appropriate. The application should: Allow employees to securely access the application using their Microsoft 365 account. Auto-populate employee information where possible (name, email, department, manager, etc.). Allow employees to select a pay period. Allow multiple mileage entries within a single reimbursement request. Automatically calculate reimbursable mileage and reimbursement amount using the current IRS mileage rate. Allow employees to upload supporting documentation (parking, tolls, receipts, etc.). Route requests through an approval workflow using Power Automate. Notify Payroll after manager approval. Allow Payroll to mark requests as processed. Send status notifications back to the employee throughout the approval process.
