Microsoft Word Template Expert Needed to Optimize Professional White-Label Report Template Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Word template specialist to help us transform an existing report into a professionally engineered, maintainable, white-label Word template. This is not a document formatting project. The report has already been professionally designed. Our goal is to preserve the visual appearance while improving the underlying Microsoft Word architecture so it is easier to edit, maintain, and white label for multiple partner brands. The report is approximately 90 pages and includes: -Cover pages -Section divider pages -Tables -Charts -Headers and footers -Table of Contents -Page numbering -Custom formatting throughout The original design was created in Figma and recreated in Microsoft Word. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who truly understands Microsoft Word at an advanced level. Examples include experience with: -Professional Word templates -Corporate report templates -Proposal templates -Legal document templates -Consulting reports -Financial reports -Enterprise document automation We're looking for someone who can advise us on best practices—not simply follow instructions. Primary Objectives The selected freelancer will review the existing template and help us create a document that is: -Easy to maintain -Easy to edit -Easy to white label -Structured using Word best practices -Consistent throughout -Suitable for long-term production use Desired Improvements Examples include (but are not limited to): -Style Optimization -Review all styles -Remove unused styles -Eliminate duplicate styles -Replace direct formatting with styles wherever practical -Organize styles into a logical structure -Make styles intuitive for end users -Heading Structure The current document was recreated from a Figma design using tables. Because of this: -Headings do not appear correctly in the Word Navigation Pane. -Automatic Table of Contents functionality is limited. -The document does not fully leverage Word's heading structure. We would like this redesigned while preserving the existing appearance. White Label Architecture The report is customized for multiple partner brands. We would like recommendations for improving: -Brand color management -Logo replacement -Overall branding architecture The goal is to minimize manual editing whenever branding changes. Overall Template Architecture We're looking for recommendations that improve: -Maintainability -Consistency -Performance -Ease of future updates -Overall document structure We welcome suggestions beyond our initial requirements.
