Summary

I am looking for an RF/Microwave consultant, preferably in the DFW area for a tabletop hardware assembly project. I am building an X-band materials-testing rig. We are using a 10 GHz, 40W Solid-State Power Amplifier fed by a Windfreak synthesizer, emitting through a standard gain horn into a small Faraday cage. We are testing the thermal-acoustic response of heavily shielded semimetals (Bismuth). I need an experienced engineer to help properly select the SMA cables, torque the connections, verify the SWR/impedance matching of the horn, and use a power meter to verify that our copper-mesh Faraday shield is safely containing the 40W field.
