Migrate AppSheet to Native iOS/Android

We are a registered nonprofit NGO based in Malaysia looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to partner with us in migrating our internal systems. Currently, our operations rely on AppSheet, but we’ve hit a wall: the apps are running too slow, and the UI is restrictive and unfriendly for our users. We want to transition to standalone, high-performance iOS and Android versions. The core data structure is ready, and we are actively "vibe coding" web apps using Claude Code. We are looking for a developer and mentor. Your role will be a mix of hands-on development and mentorship, ensuring our internal team learns the ropes so we can confidently maintain and update the apps in the future. Key Responsibilities 1. Co-Development: Work alongside our team to build out the iOS and Android apps (open to Flutter, React Native, or Native Swift/Kotlin based on your recommendation). 2. UI/UX Overhaul: Help us design and implement a clean, user-friendly interface to replace our clunky AppSheet UI. 3. Knowledge Transfer: Teach us best practices for mobile development, state management, and code architecture during the process so we can take over long-term maintenance. 4. AI Code Optimization: Review, refine, and secure the code we generate via Claude Code. 5. Deployment Support: Guide us through setting up the pipeline and launching on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
