Mobile APP / Webapp Go Developer (Backend + TWA Mobile) — Finalization and Debugging

We're looking for a developer to finalize and debug the fingerprint scanning feature of an existing biometric registration platform, and to handle general bug fixing and maintenance during the engagement. About the project A population registration / census system with biometric capture (fingerprint enrolment and identification, face recognition). The application is largely complete and in testing. The fingerprint module has been developed but requires debugging and stabilization — it must be fully functional within one week. Stack Backend and web application: Go Front end: React (Ideally) Mobile: Android TWA wrapping the same web application Fingerprint scanner integration: Java component communicating with the device SDK Online/offline synchronization between mobile, web, and backend Scope of work Debug and stabilize fingerprint enrolment and identification workflows end to end (device → Java component → TWA → Go backend). Fix defects in duplicate detection and fingerprint matching. Resolve issues in offline/online synchronization. Fix bugs reported by QA and verify fixes; support regression and release validation. General maintenance of the web app and TWA build. Requirements Strong Go development experience (backend and server-rendered/web application code). Java experience, ideally Android, and comfort integrating third-party hardware SDKs. Experience with Android TWA / PWA behaviour and native-to-web bridging. Ability to debug an unfamiliar codebase quickly and work independently against a tight deadline. Good communication in English; close collaboration with the Product Manager and QA. Nice to have Experience with offline-first apps and data synchronization. Familiarity with matching/deduplication logic (ABIS or similar). Engagement Initial contract: 2 weeks, starting immediately. The fingerprint feature must be working within the first week. Strong likelihood of extension — we are looking for a long-term developer for a larger Go project. Remote, with overlap required for daily coordination.
