Mobile App Developer (Contract – 6 Weeks) We are building a high-traffic festival companion mobile application in the entertainment industry. The app will provide users with a simple, reliable experience, including offline functionality and the ability to handle high user volumes. Contract Details • Duration: Approximately 6 weeks • Estimated Effort: Around 250 hours (may be less) • Team Size: 2–3 Developers • Remote Opportunity • Flexible Working Hours • Reports directly to the project lead (internal reporting) Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain a mobile application using React Native. • Build scalable backend services using Python (Django). • Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases. • Implement offline-first mobile functionality and data synchronization. • Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability for high-traffic usage. • Collaborate with the project lead and development team to deliver project milestones. • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities. Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience with JavaScript and React Native. • Solid backend development experience using Python and Django. • Experience working with PostgreSQL. • Knowledge of mobile app architecture and offline data storage/synchronization. • Experience building scalable applications capable of handling high traffic and high load. • Familiarity with REST APIs and mobile application deployment processes. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with event, entertainment, festival, or consumer-facing applications. • Knowledge of performance optimization and mobile caching strategies. • Experience working in small agile development teams.
