Mobile App Development Team for Location-Based iOS & Android App (Swift, Kotlin, Node.js)

We’re looking for an experienced mobile app development team to build, scale, and optimize a location-based mobile app for field teams. We need a reliable long-term partner who can handle the full-cycle mobile app development process: discovery / business analysis, UX/UI mobile app design, iOS and Android app development, backend development, QA, deployment, and post-launch maintenance and support. The product will help field users track activity, view locations on a map, manage tasks, upload reports/photos, and sync data with the backend. We are open to native app development for iOS and Android, but we’d also like to discuss whether a cross-platform approach such as Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform could make sense for the MVP. Main features include: - iOS and Android mobile apps - User login and role-based access - Location tracking and map view - Google Maps / Mapbox integration - Task list and task details - Photo/report upload - Push notifications - Offline-friendly behavior for poor network conditions - Backend / REST API integration - Basic admin or backend logic - Analytics and crash tracking - App Store / Google Play deployment - Maintenance and support after launch Preferred technical experience: - Native iOS development with Swift - Native Android development with Kotlin - Cross-platform app development with Flutter or Kotlin Multiplatform - Backend development with Node.js / NestJS / Express Firebase, REST APIs, secure APIs - Map integration and location-based services - App optimization, performance tuning, analytics, and crash tracking - Scalable mobile architecture such as MVP or MVVM - QA, project management, and post-launch support Nice to have: - Experience with fleet management, logistics, transportation, GPS, navigation, mapping, GIS, healthcare, marketplace, or field-service apps - Experience building mobile apps from scratch through launch - Clean code standards and strong documentation - Long-term partnership mindset Please include: - 2-3 relevant mobile app examples, especially iOS/Android apps with maps, location tracking, backend/API integration, or field operations logic. - Your recommended approach for building the MVP. - Your suggested team structure and availability. - Your hourly rate or rough budget range.
