Mobile App Marketing Assistant
Worldwide
This is ongoing work with a predictable weekly rhythm. Here's what a typical week looks like: Weekly deliverables: 3–5 short-form social posts published (TikTok/Instagram/X) — we have internal tooling that generates visual assets, so your job is planning, captions, hashtags, and posting App Store review responses cleared across the portfolio (typically 20–40 reviews/week) 10+ influencer/creator outreach messages sent and tracked in a shared sheet A Friday summary: downloads, campaign performance, what worked, what to try next (bullet points are fine — we care about substance, not slides) Monthly deliverables: One press pitch cycle tied to an app update or seasonal angle One email newsletter or update announcement drafted and sent Influencer campaign recap: what was sent, who responded, what converted Skills Required 2+ years marketing mobile apps or consumer digital products Strong written English — social captions, press pitches, and review responses that don't sound templated Short-form video content planning (TikTok/Reels) — you don't need to be on camera, but you need to know what performs Influencer/creator outreach experience: finding the right people, writing pitches that get replies, tracking results Spreadsheet-level organization: you can run outreach and reporting across multiple apps without dropping threads Nice to have: health/fitness/wellness niche experience, subscription app familiarity (paywalls, trials, bundles), basic Figma/Canva, French/German/Spanish, press list contacts in tech or health media. How We Work & Communicate Async-first. Most communication happens over Slack and shared docs. We write things down. Direct and brief. You'll get short, high-level direction ("push the French market angle this month") and you're expected to figure out the steps and come back with finished work or specific questions — not a request for a meeting. Weekly check-in. One 30-minute call per week to review the Friday summary and set priorities. That's the only standing meeting. Fast responses on decisions. When you need an approval or an answer, you'll typically get it same-day during US Central business hours. Ownership over process. We care about outcomes. If you have a better way to run outreach or reporting, propose it. To filter out generic proposals, please start your application with the word "Hydrate" and include: One app or consumer product you've marketed and one specific result you drove (numbers preferred) A 2–3 sentence content or influencer campaign idea for a water tracking app Your hourly rate and weekly availability Applications without these three items will not be considered. Thank you!
