3D Modelling / Digital Twin / Industrial Facility Modeling Specialist

Project Overview We are seeking an experienced freelancer, consultancy, or technology partner with a proven track record of delivering 3D Digital Twin projects for industrial facilities. This is not a conceptual or R&D project—we are specifically looking for professionals who have already completed similar work and can demonstrate relevant project experience. The objective is to create an accurate, navigable 3D digital representation of a large, mature industrial processing facility using one or more reality-capture technologies, including: • LiDAR scanning • Drone photogrammetry • Point cloud processing • Scan-to-BIM / Scan-to-CAD workflows • Reality capture platforms • Digital Twin technologies The resulting model will support: • Engineering planning • Maintenance and shutdown planning • Asset visualization and understanding • Future plant modifications • Operational collaboration • Foundation for future AI-driven capabilities Ideal Experience We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked on projects involving: • Mining operations • Mineral processing plants • Refineries • Oil & gas facilities • Manufacturing plants • Heavy industrial infrastructure • Large-scale process facilities Experience with platforms and tools such as Autodesk ReCap, Navisworks, Revit, Bentley iTwin, Matterport, Leica, Faro, Pix4D, RealityCapture, DroneDeploy, or similar solutions is highly desirable. A brief description of the technologies and workflows used. 3. Sample images, videos, or portfolio links (NDA-safe if required). 4. Your typical delivery approach from data capture through final model. 5. Your experience with point clouds, LiDAR, photogrammetry, or scan-to-BIM/CAD. 6. Indicative pricing or engagement model. 7. Whether you would be interested in acting as a long-term delivery partner for future client-facing projects. Important We strongly prefer applicants who have already delivered similar industrial Digital Twin projects and can demonstrate real-world experience.
