Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor for SaaS Social Media Content

Before sending a proposal please read the portfolio requirements and applicant questions. We require 20 videos and 10 images. In which the successful applicant will receive £150 = $200. This can turn into a permanent position at a fast growing start up. We are looking for a creative and reliable motion graphics designer and video editor who can help us produce regular, engaging videos for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn reels. You will be responsible for turning our ideas, scripts, screen recordings and raw footage into polished short-form videos. The content may include: Animated demonstrations of the SAAS platform Motion graphics explaining how SAAS works Product feature videos Short-form social media advertisements Educational videos for service businesses Before-and-after customer journey videos Animated text, icons, charts and user-interface elements Founder-led videos with captions, cutaways and supporting graphics Promotional videos designed to generate leads and booked demonstrations This is not simply a basic video-cutting role. We need someone who can use motion graphics to make software and business concepts feel interesting, clear and visually exciting. Required Skills You should have strong experience with: Adobe After Effects Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro Motion graphics and 2D animation Short-form social media video editing Animated typography and captions User-interface and software product animation Screen-recording editing Sound design and music selection Colour correction and basic audio editing Creating strong hooks and maintaining viewer attention Formatting videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube Shorts Exporting high-quality videos in the correct aspect ratios and file formats. Portfolio Requirement - (Minimum of 10 videos) Please include a portfolio containing your most relevant work. We are particularly interested in seeing: Motion graphics videos SaaS or software product videos Short-form social media content Animated user-interface demonstrations Videos that combine live footage with motion graphics Paid social media advertisements Please do not send a general portfolio without identifying the projects most relevant to this role. For each relevant example, briefly explain: What you were responsible for Which software you used Whether you created the animation from scratch Whether you worked from a completed script or developed the creative concept How long the project took Application Questions Please answer the following questions when applying: 1. If successful with the first stage the applicant maybe asked to create a trial video showcasing their skills.
