Motion Graphics Designer

Looking for a Motion Graphics Designer / Animator for a long-term YouTube project. I’m building a comedic-yet-intelligent Arabic YouTube channel and I’m looking for someone who can help create a unique visual identity for it over multiple videos, not just work on one video. The video editing itself will be done by me. I will handle the main edit, pacing, cuts, footage, and final export. Your role will be focused on: * Motion graphics * Animated visual elements * Scene-specific animations * Reusable channel animations * Motion graphics sound effects / SFX * Delivering clean animation files that I can place over my footage The style I’m aiming for is not generic corporate motion graphics. I want something that feels like a mix of: * Collage animation * Paper cutouts / notebook textures * Mystery documentary visuals * Whimsical but still professional design * Animated cards, scribbles, diagrams, icons, images, and text * Clean motion that supports the narration without distracting from it The work will be split into two types: 1. **Reusable channel animations** These are fixed animations that will be used across every video, such as paper crumbles, card reveals, title transitions, image pop-ins, scribble effects, notebook-style movements, recurring section transitions, etc. The goal is to build a consistent visual language for the channel. 2. **Custom animations per video** Some scenes will need specific animations depending on the script, story, joke, historical moment, diagram, or visual explanation. These will be created specifically for each episode. The motion graphics should be delivered in a way that I can easily use over my own edit, preferably as transparent background exports / alpha channel files, such as ProRes 4444 with alpha or PNG sequences when needed. Arabic is a requirement. You need to be comfortable working with Arabic text, Arabic timing, and Arabic narration. The videos are in Arabic, so understanding the language is important for the animations to land properly. I need someone who understands visual storytelling, pacing, comedy timing, and how to make the animation feel connected to the script rather than just adding random effects. Important requirements: * Strong motion graphics skills, preferably in After Effects * Ability to animate collage-style visuals * Good sense of design, layout, and visual storytelling * Comfortable working with Arabic text and Arabic narration * Can create assets or improve existing ones, not only animate templates * Able to create both reusable motion systems and custom scene-specific animations * Able to deliver motion graphics with alpha channel / transparent background * Able to add suitable SFX for the motion graphics * Organized project files are a plus * Open to a long-term collaboration Please send: 1.
