Motion Graphics Developer for Podcast Intro/Outro
Worldwide
Cinematic Podcast Intro — Motion Graphics / Video Editor Project Overview I am looking for a skilled motion graphics artist or video editor to create a 22-second cinematic intro and a 5 seconds outro for a Podcast — an independent podcast covering geopolitics, Islamic history, trade, and spirituality from a critical, intellectual perspective. This is not a generic talking-head podcast. The intro needs to feel cinematic, serious, and distinctive — closer to a documentary or film title sequence than a standard YouTube intro. What We Need • A 22-second cinematic intro video with no narration • Colour grade: dark tones (black/navy) with warm gold and amber highlights • Light film grain overlay across the entire video • Audio: evolving drum-based soundtrack (no lyrics) — details provided in the full brief • Pacing that shifts across five distinct sections from slow and atmospheric to intense and back to calm, then modern • Logo/title card held at the end for 1.5 to 2 seconds Style and Tone The visual language should feel intelligent and elevated. Think documentary title sequences, not corporate explainer videos. We want something that signals to a viewer within three seconds that this is a serious platform. • Islamic geometric patterns and textures used subtly — not as the main focus • Historical and abstract visuals, not news footage or obvious stock imagery • No clichéd mosque shots or overused Middle East stock footage • The Sufi-inspired middle section (0:14–0:18) should feel meditative and distinctly different in pace from the rest • The final section should feel modern — trade, networks, technology, AI — connecting ancient themes to the present What We Will Provide • A full detailed editing brief with second-by-second timeline breakdown • Audio direction notes including mood and instrumentation guidance per section • Podcast logo and branding assets • Reference examples upon request • Prompt responses and clear feedback throughout Ideal Candidate • Strong portfolio of cinematic or documentary-style motion graphics work • Experience with atmospheric, non-corporate visual storytelling • Comfortable working from a detailed written brief without needing constant direction • Able to handle both the visual editing and basic audio mixing/sourcing • Responsive and communicative — this is a collaborative project • Experience with podcast or documentary intros is a strong plus Deliverables • One draft for review • Up to two rounds of revisions • Final export in 1080p minimum (4K preferred) as MP4 • Clean version without logo (optional but preferred) How to Apply Please include the following in your proposal: • A link to your portfolio or two to three examples of relevant previous work • A brief note on how you would approach this project • Your estimated turnaround time • Your fixed price for the project Note: Generic proposals without portfolio examples will not be considered. We are looking for someone who has clearly read the brief and has relevant work to show.
