About the Role We are seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee our retail locations. This person will be responsible for ensuring that all stores operate as one coordinated business—with consistent standards, strong sales performance, accurate inventory, efficient transfers, and reliable receiving and packing procedures. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, data-driven, standards-focused, and capable of holding store teams accountable while maintaining positive working relationships. The Retail Operations Manager will report directly to company leadership and work closely with our shipping, allocation, customer service, and store teams. Key Responsibilities Store Performance Review sales performance against targets for each store. Prepare a clear monthly performance overview. Identify stores that are underperforming and develop an action plan. Follow through with store teams until improvements are implemented. Monitor best sellers and help prevent unnecessary stockouts. Store Standards and Accountability Create and maintain consistent operating standards across every location. Train store staff on procedures and expectations. Ensure proper scan verification and inventory-control compliance. Monitor receiving, packing, stock handling, and store organization. Hold store coordinators accountable for following established procedures. Inventory Transfers and Store Clean-Outs Determine which merchandise should be transferred between stores. Coordinate U.S.–Israel inventory transfers and seasonal clean-outs. Track each transfer from the initial decision through completion. Work with the shipping team, which will execute the physical shipping. Ensure transferred inventory is properly received and updated at the destination. Receiving and Inventory Accuracy Establish consistent receiving standards at every location. Ensure deliveries are counted, scanned, checked, and recorded properly. Investigate inventory discrepancies and recurring operational issues. Improve inventory accuracy across all retail locations. Store Supplies Maintain proper stock levels of essential store supplies, including: Shopping bags Mailers Packaging materials Thank-you cards Gift cards Shipping and packing supplies The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that no store runs out of essential operating supplies. Key Performance Indicators Success in this role will be measured through: Sales versus target by store Inventory accuracy across locations Inventory-transfer turnaround time Best-seller stockout rate Receiving compliance Packing and scan-verification compliance Consistency of store operating standards Required Experience Proven experience managing operations for multiple retail stores Strong understanding of retail inventory and store procedures Experience implementing SOPs, standards, and accountability systems Comfortable working with teams in both the United States and Israel Strong analytical and reporting skills Ability to review data and turn findings into clear action plans Excellent communication and follow-through Highly organized and detail-oriented Comfortable addressing performance and compliance issues directly Experience in apparel, fashion, children’s clothing, or omnichannel retail is strongly preferred. Role Boundaries This is an operational management and oversight position. The Retail Operations Manager will not be responsible for handling daily store packing or performing the store coordinators’ routine work. Instead, this person will establish the standards, monitor compliance, solve problems, and ensure that each responsible team member completes their work properly. Your answer must include: The order in which you would address the issues and why The data you would review before making transfer decisions Who would own each action and how you would follow up The tracker, report or operating system you would create The KPIs you would use to determine whether the problems were permanently fixed Do not simply tell us what should happen.
