Summary

We own and operate multiple businesses across B2B software, professional services, ecommerce and specialty physical products. We are seeking an experienced paid advertising specialist capable of handling the complete process from properly establishing advertising accounts and conversion tracking to producing finished creative, launching campaigns and analyzing initial performance. This is not a request for someone who only creates ads or only manages accounts. We need a partner who understands the technical, operational, creative and performance sides of multichannel advertising. The initial engagement will focus on one or two businesses. Strong performance may lead to recurring work across our broader portfolio. Potential Advertising Platforms Depending on the business and target customer, platforms may include: * Google Ads * Google Merchant Center * Microsoft Advertising * Meta: Facebook and Instagram * LinkedIn Campaign Manager * Pinterest Business and Ads * TikTok Business and Ads * YouTube * Etsy and marketplace advertising * Display and retargeting networks Not every business should advertise on every platform. We expect the contractor to recommend channels based on buyer intent, economics and the strength of the available offer. Scope of Work Phase 1: Discovery and Channel Strategy For each assigned business: * Review the business model, products, services and pricing. * Identify target customers and decision-makers. * Analyze competitors, offers, positioning and advertising. * Separate high-intent search opportunities from discovery-based advertising. * Recommend the best initial advertising channels. * Identify the strongest introductory offer and conversion action. * Evaluate whether the website and landing pages are ready for paid traffic. * Identify missing trust signals, policies, tracking, creative or product information. * Establish initial performance goals and measurement standards. The strategy must be specific to each business. Generic recommendations reused across unrelated companies will not be accepted. Phase 2: Multibrand Account Architecture Create or correctly configure the required advertising and analytics accounts. Responsibilities may include: * Google Ads and Google Ads Manager Account * Google Merchant Center * Google Analytics 4 * Google Tag Manager * Meta Business Portfolio and Ads Manager * Meta Pixel and Conversions API * LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Insight Tag * Pinterest Business, catalogs and Pinterest Tag * TikTok Business, Ads Manager and TikTok Pixel * Microsoft Advertising * Marketplace advertising accounts Each business must retain ownership of its accounts, billing, tracking data, audiences and creative assets. Unrelated businesses should not share pixels, catalogs, conversion data or audiences unless specifically reviewed and approved. The contractor must: * Use partner or user access rather than taking ownership. * Configure appropriate permissions. * Require two-factor authentication where available. * Avoid unnecessary password sharing. * Document ownership and administrative access. * Identify verification steps that must be completed by the owner. * Never create an account or asset that only the contractor controls. Phase 3: Analytics and Conversion Tracking Configure and test the conversion events applicable to each business. Potential events include: * Form submission * Qualified lead * Phone call * Appointment booking * Free audit or assessment request * Account registration * Trial activation * Subscription * Product view * Add to cart * Checkout * Purchase * Repeat purchase Tracking responsibilities may include: * GA4 implementation * Google Tag Manager configuration * Google Ads conversion tracking * Enhanced conversions * Meta Pixel and Conversions API * LinkedIn Insight Tag * Pinterest Tag * TikTok Pixel * Ecommerce catalog events * UTM standards * Cross-domain or subdomain tracking where required The contractor must test tracking and provide evidence that events are firing correctly before campaigns are launched. Phase 4: Product Feeds and Catalogs For applicable ecommerce businesses: * Create or optimize Google Merchant Center feeds. * Establish Meta and Pinterest catalogs. * Configure marketplace listings for advertising readiness. * Review product titles, descriptions, categories and images. * Identify missing product attributes or policy requirements. * Resolve or document feed errors and account warnings. * Keep catalogs and data sources separated by brand. Phase 5: Placeholder Campaign Structure Before final creative is completed, create logically organized draft campaigns using clearly labeled placeholder assets. Campaigns may include: * Google Search * Google Shopping * Microsoft Search * Meta prospecting * Meta retargeting * LinkedIn lead generation * Pinterest Shopping * TikTok conversion campaigns * YouTube remarketing * Marketplace advertising Draft campaigns must remain paused until final creative, tracking and landing pages have been reviewed and approved. No advertising spend may be incurred without written approval. Phase 6: Market, Keyword and Audience Research Depending on the business: * Conduct keyword and search-intent research. * Separate informational, commercial and transactional searches. * Create focused keyword groups. * Develop negative-keyword lists. * Identify competitor and alternative-product searches. * Research platform-specific audiences. * Recommend prospecting and retargeting audiences. * Map audiences to specific offers, messages and landing pages. * Identify when broad automation is appropriate and when manual targeting is required. The contractor should explain why each audience and keyword group was selected. Phase 7: Messaging and Creative Strategy Develop an advertising framework for each selected audience. Each creative concept should define: * Target customer * Customer problem or motivation * Hook * Offer * Product or service benefit * Proof points * Objections * Demonstration or visual concept * Call to action * Destination page * Recommended platform and format Messaging must be accurate and appropriate for the specific business. Unsupported technical, financial, legal, medical, security or performance claims may not be used. Phase 8: Production-Ready Advertising Assets Produce a practical testing package appropriate to the selected channels. Potential deliverables include: * Short-form video advertisements * Static image advertisements * Carousel advertisements * Demonstration-based creative * UGC-style concepts * LinkedIn document advertisements * Pinterest Pins * YouTube assets * Display and retargeting creative * Marketplace advertising images * Platform-specific resizing * Product-feed images * Ad copy and landing-page content recommendations For social campaigns, we generally expect multiple concepts rather than several minor variations of the same advertisement. The contractor should recommend the appropriate asset count for each business. As a general starting point, a social-focused project may include: * Three to five distinct advertising concepts * Four to six short-form videos * Six to ten static or carousel advertisements * Appropriate 9:16, 4:5 and 1:1 versions * Multiple hooks, headlines and calls to action A search-focused B2B campaign may require fewer visual assets and more extensive keyword, copy and landing-page work. We can provide product photographs and record raw footage using a contractor-provided shot list. The contractor should be capable of directing remote product capture and editing the resulting footage. Phase 9: Advertising Copy Develop a structured copy bank that may include: * Hooks * Headlines * Primary text * Descriptions * Calls to action * Short and long variations * Search advertisements * Audience-specific messages * Product-feed titles and descriptions * Retargeting copy * Educational and problem-aware copy * Promotional and non-promotional variations Copy must reflect the actual product, service and approved claims of the assigned business. Phase 10: Landing-Page Recommendations Review each campaign destination and provide actionable recommendations covering: * Message match * Offer clarity * Calls to action * Mobile experience * Page speed * Forms * Trust signals * Testimonials * Case studies * Product information * Pricing presentation * Privacy and advertising-policy requirements * Conversion tracking If separate campaign-specific pages are needed, provide an outline or wireframe showing the required sections and copy. Please specify whether your proposal includes landing-page design or development. Phase 11: Campaign Launch and Quality Assurance Before launch: * Confirm account ownership and billing. * Confirm conversion tracking. * Review final URLs and UTMs. * Check geographic and language targeting. * Review budgets and bidding. * Confirm exclusions and negative keywords. * Review product feeds and policy warnings. * Confirm that final creative is correctly assigned. * Obtain written launch approval. Campaigns must not be activated before completing this review. Phase 12: Initial Optimization The initial engagement should include a post-launch observation and optimization period. Responsibilities include: * Monitor spending and delivery. * Review search terms. * Exclude irrelevant traffic. * Identify tracking or landing-page problems. * Compare audiences, offers and creative concepts. * Pause clearly wasteful placements or keywords. * Document meaningful changes. * Recommend the next round of creative. * Distinguish between problems caused by audience, offer, creative, landing page or tracking. * Produce an initial performance report with actionable conclusions. We are not interested in reports that simply repeat platform metrics. Reporting should explain what was learned and what should happen next. Multibrand Standards and Documentation Create reusable standards for: * Account naming * Campaign naming * Ad-set and ad-group naming * Conversion naming * Audience naming * UTM conventions * Asset storage * Version control * Launch approvals * Access management * Reporting Provide: * Account and access matrix * Campaign inventory * Tracking documentation * Creative inventory * Outstanding-requirements checklist * Recorded handoff walkthrough * Editable source files Ownership and Licensing * Each business must own its advertising accounts and data. * We must receive editable source files. * We must receive commercial rights to finished creative. * Fonts, music, stock media and footage must be properly licensed. * Use of generative AI must be disclosed in advance. * AI-generated or stock imagery may not be represented as an actual product, customer, employee or business result. * Contractor-created audiences, tags, feeds and creative may not be withheld at the end of the engagement. * The contractor may not retain exclusive administrative control over any business asset. Required Experience * Multibrand or agency advertising operations * Google Ads and Google Ads Manager Accounts * Google Merchant Center * GA4 and Google Tag Manager * Meta Business Portfolio and Ads Manager * Conversion tracking and attribution * Search advertising * Ecommerce or lead-generation campaigns * Creative strategy * Performance copywriting * Retargeting * Product feeds and catalogs * Landing-page optimization * Clear documentation and handoff procedures Experience with both B2B software or professional services and ecommerce or physical products is strongly preferred. We expect the initial project to follow a structure similar to: 1. Discovery, account architecture and requirements 2. Account setup, tracking and paused placeholder campaigns 3. Research, positioning and creative strategy 4. Production-ready advertising assets 5. Prelaunch quality assurance and campaign launch 6. Initial monitoring, optimization and reporting Please recommend any changes you believe would improve this structure. When Applying Please answer every question below: 1. Describe a multibrand or agency advertising environment you personally configured. 2. How do you ensure each client owns its advertising accounts, pixels, catalogs and data? 3. Which platforms can you configure and manage directly? 4. Provide at least one relevant B2B campaign example. 5. Provide at least one relevant ecommerce or physical-product campaign example. 6. Explain your personal role in strategy, tracking, copy, design, editing and media buying. 7. Identify any work that would be subcontracted. 8. How do you test whether conversion tracking is accurate? 9. How do you determine whether poor performance is caused by the audience, offer, creative, landing page or tracking? 10. What deliverables would you recommend for an initial single-brand pilot? 11. Provide a fixed-price quote for the pilot and your proposed ongoing management structure. 12. Confirm that editable source files and commercial usage rights are included. 13. Begin your response with “Multibrand Ready” so we know you reviewed the complete scope. We are looking for a long-term advertising partner who can learn different businesses, build clean infrastructure and produce advertising that generates measurable results not simply launch generic campaigns and report impressions.
