Music Producer Assistant / Engineer

The Loop Box is a new premium loop marketplace for professional music producers, run by #1 Billboard Charting Platinum Producer / Songwriter, Jake Angel. We're in the early stages of building something exciting and are looking for sharp, motivated people to grow with us from the ground up. We need a detail-oriented FL Studio user to help us process our catalog of 700 beats into upload-ready assets. This is a fixed project with potential for ongoing work directly with Jake Angel on other music-related projects, and as we expand the catalog on The Loop Box. What You'll Be Doing: For each of 700 beats you will: Open the stems in FL Studio (or equivalent) Export a full mix loop as a 24-bit WAV file (named to our exact convention) Export a compressed MP3 preview version for website playback Extract individual drum one-shots (kick, snare, hi-hat, percussion) from each beat Fill in a structured metadata spreadsheet (BPM, key, scale, mood, genre, energy score, artist references, granular tags) Write a 3-5 sentence deep description of each loop covering mood, instrumentation, and placement context Full step-by-step video instructions with voiceover will be provided before you begin. Requirements: Proficient in a DAW (FL Studio preferred, but Ableton or equivalent is acceptable) Strong ear for music - you need to identify key, mood, and instrumentation accurately, and have knowledge of multiple genres including trap, hip hop, country, pop, etc (an avid music listener would be ideal but not necessary) Native or fluent English for writing descriptions Highly organized and detail-oriented Able to work independently and hit targets Good communication Nice to have: Experience making beats or working with stems Knowledge of hip hop, trap, R&B, country, pop, dem, gospel, and related genres Familiarity with music metadata or sample libraries
