Summary

We’re looking for a skilled market researcher to help us break into the Mutual Insurance space by identifying the trusted voices, platforms, and channels that decision-makers already follow. We’re taking a new approach to connect with this audience by using the people and platforms they already know, trust, and interact with – such as industry podcasts, keynote speakers, associations, publications, and other influential thought leaders within the mutual insurance space and adjacent industries. Your role will be to identify where these decision-makers are consuming information and uncover strategic partnership, sponsorship, and advertising opportunities that allow us to connect with them in a more relevant and credible way. Project Scope You’ll research and deliver actionable insights across three main areas: 1. Industry Podcasts & Media Channels Identify the most relevant and influential podcasts, media platforms, and content hubs in the mutual insurance space. Examples: • Insurance Law Podcast, AM Best (https://legaltalknetwork.com/podcasts/insurance-law-podcast-am-best/) • NAMIC’s Insurance Uncovered (https://www.namic.org/media-publications/insurance-uncovered/) • Other insurance-specific or insurance law podcasts (https://podcast.feedspot.com/insurance_law_podcasts/) For each, we’d like: •Audience size and engagement (where available) • Target audience (roles, company types) • Sponsorship or advertising opportunities • Guest appearance or partnership opportunities • Contact or submission details (if available) 2. Influencers & Key Opinion Leaders Identify key individuals who have influence in the Mutual Insurance space, such as: • Conference keynote speakers • Industry thought leaders • Association leaders • Podcast hosts and prominent contributors Example source: • AICP Conference speakers, and similar industry events (https://www.aicp.net/conference) For each individual: • Their audience reach and influence level • Where they communicate (LinkedIn, blogs, podcasts, speaking events, etc.) • Level of engagement (followers, activity, visibility) • Relevance to mutual insurance decision-makers 3. Engagement & Partnership Opportunities For both platforms and individuals, identify how we could collaborate, such as: • Podcast sponsorships or ads • Guest interviews or co-created content • Webinar or virtual event partnerships • Conference speaking or co-branded sessions • Thought leadership collaborations Deliverables A well-organized report (Google Doc and/or Excel preferred) that includes: • Curated list of podcasts, media channels, and influencers • Key data points for each (audience, reach, relevance, contact info if available) • Clear recommendations on the most promising partnership opportunities Ideal Candidate • Strong experience in B2B market research • Familiarity with mutual insurance industry • Experience identifying influencers, podcasts, and media partnerships • Ability to synthesize research into clear, actionable insights • Detail-oriented and resourceful Project Details • Scope: Short-term project • Budget: Open to proposals (please include your estimate) • Timeline: Ideally completed within 3–4 weeks
