Bubble Developer – Marketplace Optimisation & Ongoing Development About MyBurb MyBurb is a hyperlocal marketplace connecting buyers with local providers, products and services. The platform has been built in Bubble and is currently operating with active sellers and buyers, with a focus on scaling seller acquisition and improving the buyer experience. We are looking for an experienced Bubble developer to assist with platform optimisation, feature development, and potentially ongoing technical ownership as the platform grows. Location We are open to a remote relationship, though we have a preference for those in Australia and ideally Perth. Initial Engagement The initial engagements will focus on reviewing and improving several existing and new platform features, including: - Seller sign-up UX/UI additions and simplification - Seller profile UI "trust features" implementation - Revised buyer review process and associated seller UI upgrades Future engagements will include: - Design upgrade implementation based on graphic designer input - Search performance and optimisation - Seller ranking and filtering updates - Marketplace performance and scalability - General UX/UI improvements - Bug identification and resolution The successful candidate will be expected to review the current implementation, identify bottlenecks, and recommend practical solutions. Skills Required - Strong Bubble.io experience - Experience building marketplaces, directories or location-based platforms - Strong understanding of database architecture and performance optimisation - Experience with search functionality and filtering - Experience with maps, geolocation and proximity search - Ability to review and improve existing applications built by other developers - Strong communication and problem-solving skills Nice to Have - Experience with large-scale Bubble applications - Marketplace growth and optimisation experience - API integrations - Understanding of platform scalability and future migration considerations Future Opportunity For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity for ongoing development work and broader technical leadership as the platform continues to grow.
