.NET Core/Angular DevOps for regulated Danish casino Kasino.dk
Worldwide
*** We're looking only to work with individual talent directly — NO agencies please. *** We're looking for a talented, reliable and independent software developer and operations/monitoring analyst who has a minimum of 5 years of work experience using .NET (Core), PostgreSQL and Angular (universal) stack for creating high performance and secure web applications. Having experience with AWS and Google Cloud is a big plus. Our product is a top modern, licensed and regulated online casino in Denmark, as can be seen at www.kasino.dk (in development). The right candidate must be from Europe (preferably Denmark, the Baltics, Poland, Czech, Bulgaria, Ukraine or Georgia etc) and have an English language proficiency level sufficient to discuss and understand the project, however no one in our existing team are native English speakers, so we are more than used to communicate across very different levels of English. We value talent over the spoken language. We value intelligence, independency, responsibility and the ability to be structured very high. We appreciate to document our work as we produce the software and keeping our project management tools always updated so colleagues always knows what is happening. We use Slack, Hubstaff, Sentry, GitHub, Google Workspace/Cloud (and AWS for hosting). The organisation is very flat and everyone will be listened to if they have something clever to say, we want all team members to speak their mind to ensure the highest level in software quality we can achieve. Everyone in the organisation from the owner through managers to DevOps have a background and education within software — we speak software. It is important that the right candidate is enthusiastic about products and product development. We expect that DevOps also brings ideas to the table to improve the product and to simply not only fixing bugs and implementing tasks given to them by others. The candidate must have experience with, and finding enjoyment in, styling front end apps and making them look and feel great and appealing for end users. As well as understanding the importance of good and thorough testing opposed to rely on others finding their bugs. For the right candidate we can offer a long term position with great opportunities to grow and learn and advance both in regards to technical experience but also on the human level. We always ask for at least one interview on Upwork or Meet before we make any hires. And we always start with a small real case feature at an agreed fixed price to evaluate candidates.
