.NET Developer (ASP.NET/C#) using Claude Code - SaaS maintenance & new features

ABOUT US We are HLTH Compliance, a UK health-sector compliance consultancy. We own HLTH Manage, an established ASP.NET (C#) web application used by clinics, hospitals, care homes and children's homes to manage CQC compliance: documents, policies, staff, e-learning and governance. It is currently maintained by an external software company and we are moving development to a freelancer who combines strong .NET skills with an AI-accelerated workflow (Claude Code). THE WORK Ongoing maintenance, bug fixes and new feature development on the existing codebase (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server, Entity Framework). Typical work includes new features and reports, form and workflow changes, bug fixes, and performance improvements. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR - 5+ years .NET/ASP.NET experience, comfortable working in an existing production codebase - Uses Claude Code (or similar AI coding tools) daily to move fast without sacrificing quality - Strong on code review and testing: you check what the AI produces before it ships - Good written English and reliable communication - Experience with healthcare or compliance software is a plus HOW WE WILL WORK The engagement starts with a small paid trial task so both sides can assess fit, then ongoing hourly work (approx. 20-40 hours/month) with potential to grow. UK/EU timezone overlap preferred.
