Summary

We are looking for an experienced C# / .NET developer to assist with a technical task involving legacy package migration within an existing ERP system. This is a quick, focused engineering task for someone who has strong experience working with .NET applications and dependency upgrades in production systems. We are looking for someone who can quickly understand an existing ERP codebase, safely upgrade dependencies, and ensure no disruption to production functionality. Scope of Work * Review existing .NET-based ERP system architecture and dependencies * Upgrade or migrate legacy NuGet packages and .NET dependencies * Resolve breaking changes and compatibility issues * Perform basic validation to ensure ERP modules remain stable Required Skills * Strong experience with C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 8 * Hands-on experience with legacy system maintenance and package migration * Strong knowledge of NuGet package management and dependency resolution * Experience working with ERP systems Nice to Have * Experience with large monolithic or modular .NET systems * Familiarity with SQL Server and enterprise database-driven applications * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.) * Strong understanding of backward compatibility in enterprise systems Deliverables * Successfully migrated and updated .NET packages * Clean build with no critical errors * Verified ERP system stability after migration
