NYC Structural Engineer / Drafter Needed for Limited DOB Scope

We are looking for an experienced structural engineer or structural drafting team to prepare structural plans and calculations for a limited NYC DOB alteration scope. The building is approximately 6,500 square feet, but nearly all existing structural conditions will remain unchanged. The structural work is primarily limited to approximately 800 square feet of mezzanine space, together with several minor openings. The selected professional must either: Be a New York-licensed Professional Engineer with an active NYC DOB profile; or Work directly with a New York-licensed Professional Engineer who has an active NYC DOB profile. The licensed engineer must review and stamp the plans and serve as the Applicant of Record for the structural filing. No direct DOB filing coordination or routine communication will be required. Our expediting firm will handle all submissions, appointments, follow-up, and communication with DOB. The engineer will need to provide any required technical responses, revised drawings, calculations, or professional sign-offs through approval.
