Native Arabic Translation Reviewer & Proofreader for Educational Website

We are looking for a native Arabic speaker to review, proofread, and improve an existing translation for an educational website. The content has already been translated from English into Arabic. This project does not require a complete translation from scratch. The selected freelancer will compare the existing Arabic version with the original English content, correct any inaccuracies, and ensure that the final text is clear, natural, and professional. The project also includes reviewing and, where necessary, translating or correcting an educational glossary. Terminology must remain accurate and consistent throughout the website. Scope of Work * Review the existing Arabic translation against the original English content * Correct mistranslations, grammar, spelling, and punctuation * Improve wording, readability, and natural flow * Ensure that the original meaning is preserved * Review and correct the website glossary * Translate any glossary entries or short sections that are incomplete * Maintain consistent terminology throughout all materials * Flag any English wording that may be unclear or difficult to translate accurately * Ensure the content is written in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) and is understandable to a broad Arabic-speaking audience * Provide the final corrected text in an organized and easy-to-review format Requirements * Native Arabic speaker * Excellent command of Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) * Strong English reading comprehension * Professional experience in translation, proofreading, editing, or localization * Excellent attention to detail * Ability to write clearly for a general audience * Experience with educational or informational content is preferred * Human review is required; the final work must not rely solely on automatic translation tools Deliverables * Fully reviewed and corrected Arabic translation * Reviewed and corrected glossary * Consistent terminology across all provided materials * Brief notes identifying any unclear phrases or significant translation issues Project Details * One-time, fixed-price project * Budget: $100 * The source content and existing translation will be provided after the freelancer is selected * There may be opportunities for future work as additional content is developed When Applying, Please Include 1.
