Native Chinese Software Localization Reviewer (Qt Linguist) – SoundBridge Digital Audio Workstation

We're looking for a native Simplified Chinese speaker to review and polish our software translations for SoundBridge, a professional digital audio workstation (DAW) used by musicians and producers worldwide. This is not a translation-from-scratch project. We've already translated approximately 80% of the application using AI (Google Gemini) and our own internal tooling. Your job is to carefully review the translations, improve wording where necessary, and ensure everything reads naturally for native Simplified Chinese speakers. Responsibilities: Review Qt Linguist (.ts) translation files Review accompanying JSON localization files using Visual Studio Code Correct awkward or unnatural translations Ensure terminology is consistent throughout the application Preserve placeholders such as %1, %2, HTML tags, variables, and formatting Mark reviewed translations as complete in Qt Linguist What You'll Be Working With The project includes: User interface text Dialogs and menus Tooltips Error messages Help documentation Music production terminology Requirements: Native Simplified Chinese speaker Excellent written Chinese Strong attention to detail Comfortable learning Qt Linguist (training provided) Comfortable using Visual Studio Code Experience translating or localizing software is preferred Familiarity with music production software or DAWs is a plus, but not required We'll provide a short walkthrough covering: Installing Qt Linguist Opening and editing translation files Reviewing and approving translations Editing JSON localization files in Visual Studio Code Best practices for placeholders and formatting The training should take approximately 15–20 minutes.
