We’re inviting native Colombia-Spanish speakers to take part in a relaxed and engaging conversation recording project to support cutting-edge language research. What’s involved? Simply record natural, everyday conversations with a partner using our user-friendly app. No prior experience or special equipment needed, just two smartphones, iPhones or new Android devices, and a quiet space. It’s a great opportunity to contribute to linguistic research, receive positive feedback, and enjoy a fun, laid-back experience. How It Works: * Team Up: Two people will complete this task together. Pair up with another native Colombian Spanish speaker to engage in spontaneous dialogues on a variety of topics. * No Partner? No worries! We can help you find one on Upwork. Be part of something meaningful, sign up today! Project Details * Talk About What You Love: Choose 7 topics from a list of 20, including themes like education, sports, travel, and more. * Recording Time: Each topic requires a minimum of 20 minutes, totaling 2 hours and 20 minutes per pair. * Payment: You’ll get $5 per hour, which means $12.5 per person for completing the project. As a pair, you’ll get a total of $25! ⸻ Requirements * A Smartphone: A good-quality phone is required. iPhones are preferred but not mandatory. * A Quiet Space: Record in a noise-free environment. * A Partner is Required: You’ll need a conversation partner for this project. Two people will do this task together. If you don’t have one, no problem! We can help you find another native speaker on Upwork to do this task together. ⸻ Additional Information * One-Time Opportunity: This project is only available to new participants who haven’t previously completed it on the FunCrowd app. * Avoid Duplicate Recordings: If you’ve already recorded this same task on the FunCrowd app, you are not eligible to participate again.
