Native Dubbing Script Adapter ( German and French)

We are seeking skilled Dubbing Adapters to adapt translated scripts into natural, lip-sync-friendly dialogue. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the emotional authenticity, cultural accuracy, and precise pacing of international content, helping stories resonate with local audiences globally. Targeted Language Pairs Include (but are not limited to): •French to English •German to English Key Responsibilities •Adaptation: Transform translated scripts into engaging, lip-sync-compatible dialogue that flows naturally. •Precision: Ensure all lines align perfectly with the timing, pacing, and lip movements of the original video. •Nuance: Preserve the tone, character voice, and emotional intent of the source material. •Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and reviewers to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery. •Revision: Proactively incorporate editorial feedback to refine the final script. Qualifications: •Fluency: Native or near-native fluency in the target language. •Experience: Proven experience in dubbing adaptation, script localization, or professional screenwriting. •Technical Skill: Demonstrated ability to work within strict dubbing constraints (lip-sync, pacing, timing). •Writing Ability: Strong command of grammar and creative writing with a keen ear for natural dialogue. •Reliability: Proven ability to meet strict project deadlines and manage workload independently. Preferred Qualifications •Background in media writing for TV, film, gaming, or theater. •Deep familiarity with cultural nuances and regional dialects.
