Key Professional Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in International Relations, Political Science, Journalism, Sociology, History, Education or related social science fields Familiar with academic English standards and learning goals for international school middle school students (G6–G9) Ability to teach news analysis, critical thinking, structured argumentation, and academic oral expression Capable of designing age-appropriate discussions, debates, and reading tasks on global events Neutral, objective, and respectful teaching style; avoid biased or extreme opinions Responsibilities Prepare engaging lessons based on recent global news and current affairs Guide students to express ideas logically and academically in English Build students’ global awareness and foundational skills for humanities and social sciences Provide brief, constructive feedback after each session Qualifications Native English speaker with clear pronunciation Experience teaching in international schools or teaching humanities-related subjects is highly preferred TESOL/TEFL certification Reliable internet, quiet teaching space, and consistent weekly schedule
