Native French Speaker — QA & Proofread Machine-Translated Software UI Strings

We need a native French speaker to QA ~2,400 already-translated software UI strings (an indoor air-quality monitoring product) against their English source. This is checking and correcting an existing draft, not translating from scratch — so it's considerably faster than a full localization job. The work: - Each row has the English and a French machine draft side by side in one spreadsheet. - You confirm "Ok" when the draft is correct and natural, or write a correction when it isn't. - You edit only your review column. Nothing else in the sheet is touched. Why a native speaker matters: most drafts are fine, but the ones that aren't — wrong register, unnatural phrasing, mistranslated UI terms — are exactly what we're paying you to catch. We're also strict on a few non-negotiables: code placeholders (short variable names wrapped in curly braces, e.g. value, count, device) must be kept exactly as written, braces included, and technical terms (CO2, PM2.5, UDID, Wi-Fi, etc.) must not be altered. Scope: ~2,400 rows + 38 plural keys, all in one sheet. Roughly 6–9 hours for an experienced reviewer — quick on the short labels (buttons, menu items), slower on the minority of full sentences and placeholder-heavy strings.
