Native Japanese Transcribers for Long-Term ASR Transcription Project

About the Project We are looking for native Japanese speakers with mother-tongue or equivalent proficiency to join a **large-scale Japanese ASR (Automatic Speech Recognition) Transcription & Labeling Project This is a long-term project with consistent workload and multiple upcoming batches. We are seeking dedicated linguists who can deliver high-quality work while meeting daily productivity targets. Responsibilities * Listen to Japanese audio and accurately transcribe the speech. * Label audio data according to the client's annotation guidelines. * Maintain high accuracy and consistency throughout the project. * Complete the qualification test before joining production. * Top-performing linguists may be considered for Quality Assurance (QA) roles. Requirements * Native in Japanese * Experience in Japanese audio transcription, ASR annotation, or speech data labeling * Availability of 30–40 hours per week (or more). * Ability to pass the qualification test. * Strong listening skills, attention to detail, and excellent typing accuracy. * Reliable internet connection and computer. Project Expectations * Minimum productivity: 200 label jobs per person per day * Review all training materials before starting. * Be available on the project communication platform (Lark) during working hours. * Opportunity for long-term collaboration based on performance. The compensation structure is based on the type of task completed: *Transcription / Labeling: USD $0.90 per audio minute** *Quality Check (QC): USD $0.50 per audio minute** *Cross Check: USD $0.20 per audio minute** Higher-level tasks (QC/Cross Check) are assigned based on project requirements and performance.
