Native Malay Audiobook Narrator / Voice Actor Needed (Long-Term Project)

We are looking for a native Malay (Bahasa Melayu) speaker with professional voice-over or audiobook narration experience for a premium long-form audiobook project. This is a paid opportunity for experienced narrators who can deliver natural, engaging storytelling with broadcast-quality audio. The selected narrator will record approximately 10 hours of audiobook content. Responsibilities * Narrate long-form audiobook content in Malay. * Deliver clear, natural, and emotionally engaging storytelling. * Maintain consistent narration style, pacing, pronunciation, and audio quality throughout the project. * Follow recording specifications and project guidelines. Requirements * Native Malay (Bahasa Melayu) speaker (Malaysia preferred). * Experience in audiobook narration, voice acting, dubbing, podcast narration, or similar long-form voice projects. * Excellent storytelling ability with natural emotional expression. * Clear pronunciation using standard Malay. * Ability to commit to a long-form recording project. Recording Requirements Applicants must have access to a professional recording studio or a broadcast-quality home studio. Audio specifications: * WAV (.wav) * 48 kHz * 24-bit * Mono * Raw, unprocessed audio * No EQ, compression, noise reduction, limiting, or other audio effects * Quiet recording environment with minimal background noise Audition Process Shortlisted candidates will receive four audition scripts in Malay. The audition is designed to evaluate: * Story narration * Character dialogue * Emotional expression * Dramatic storytelling Applicants must record and submit all four scripts following the provided recording guidelines.
