Native Mobile App Developer for iOS, Android, and Apple Watch

FIDI is an AI-powered fitness transformation app requiring native mobile execution across iOS, Android, and Apple Watch. The product includes health data sync, guided camera capture, workout execution, digital twin viewing, nutrition logging, AI coach interaction, and offline-first workout functionality. We are looking for a strong native mobile developer to build the app according to founder-led product requirements and supplied UX/UI designs. Responsibilities The developer will be responsible for building and maintaining the native mobile application across: iOS Android Apple Watch / watchOS companion app Core responsibilities include: Building native mobile screens from Figma designs Implementing Apple Health and Google Health / Health Connect integrations Building guided camera capture flows Supporting pose/camera overlays and quality feedback Building the workout player Building Apple Watch workout companion screens Building nutrition logging flows Integrating AI coach APIs Supporting offline workout and nutrition logging Implementing user authentication and account flows Managing app permissions for camera, health data, notifications, and storage Preparing builds for TestFlight, Google Play internal testing, App Store, and Play Store release Required Experience The ideal candidate has experience with: Swift / SwiftUI Kotlin / Jetpack Compose watchOS development Apple HealthKit Android Health Connect Camera APIs Offline sync API integration Mobile authentication App Store and Play Store submission Fitness, health, camera, wearable, or AI app development Strong Advantage Experience with any of the following is highly preferred: AVFoundation Vision / Core ML CameraX MediaPipe 3D model viewers SceneKit, RealityKit, Unity, or similar 3D rendering tools Workout timer apps Wearable fitness apps AI chat or voice assistant integration Real-time coaching interfaces Deliverables The developer will deliver: Working iOS app Working Android app Working Apple Watch app Health data integrations Camera capture module Workout player Nutrition logging module AI coach integration Offline data handling API integration Test builds App store submission support Technical implementation documentation Key Product Areas The developer must be able to execute: Health sync Snapshot capture Guided photo capture Digital twin viewer integration Target editor Workout player Apple Watch workout companion AI coach interface Food camera logging Progress dashboard Offline mode User settings and privacy controls Reporting The developer reports directly to the founder or appointed product/technical lead. The role is execution-focused. Product direction, roadmap, feature priority, and final acceptance remain with the founder. Ownership All code, architecture, documentation, designs, prototypes, and technical work produced under this role are work-for-hire and become the property of the company/project. No equity, founder rights, product ownership, or strategic control is attached to this role unless separately agreed in writing.
