Native Proofreader & Localizer — Short Ad Scripts (Danish / Swedish / Norwegian / German / Dutch)

We're a performance marketing & creative agency working with DTC ecommerce brands across Europe. We produce a high volume of short ad scripts (UGC concepts, statics, VSLs) that are written in English and then translated into the local language of the market we're advertising in. We're looking for native speakers in the following markets to come in and proofread/localize the translated scripts so that the final copy sounds 100% natural to a native ear — not translated: 🇩🇰 Danish 🇸🇪 Swedish 🇳🇴 Norwegian 🇩🇪 German 🇳🇱 Dutch The Workflow (Very Simple) 1. You'll receive an email notification whenever there's a new script ready for proofreading. 2. You open the doc, read the English original + the translated version. 3. You rewrite/edit the translation so it sounds 100% native and culturally localized to your market (slang, idioms, tone, rhythm, punctuation, capitalization conventions — all of it). 4. You submit the revised copy back to us. That's it. No meetings, no calls, no Slack — just clean, fast turnaround on copy. What We're Looking For — Native speaker of one of the languages listed above (we hire one localizer per market). — Strong eye for copy — you can tell instantly when something "sounds translated" and you know how to fix it. — Experience with marketing/ad copy is a strong plus (DTC ecommerce, social ads, UGC scripts). — Reliable turnaround: most scripts should be returned within 24 hours of the email notification. — You can read and fully understand English. Compensation €5 per script proofread, paid through Upwork. Scripts are short (typically 100–300 words each). Volume varies, but expect a steady flow of scripts each week across our client portfolio.
