Native Serbian Copywriter Needed

We are an online portal dedicated to Serbian national news and sports. The project is in a phase of active growth and expansion of editorial content. Over time, the portal will broaden its scope to include esports and the iGaming industry (online gaming, sports betting, reviews and guides), so we are looking for a writer who is ready to cover these areas as well. What you will do: - Write short news pieces about Serbia based on open sources (original writing, not word-for-word rewriting) - Prepare sports content: news, match previews, commentary - Later on: articles about esports and the iGaming industry (reviews, guides, analysis) - Follow editorial guidelines: text structure, length, keywords (SEO basics) - Meet deadlines and work according to the content plan What we expect: - Serbian at native-speaker level (written standard, both Latin and Cyrillic scripts) - Impeccable writing, standard Serbian - Experience writing articles or news (portfolio or writing samples) - Willingness to write about esports and iGaming topics in the future (please apply only if these topics are not a problem for you) Nice to have (not required): - Knowledge of SEO basics (keywords, H2/H3 structure, meta descriptions) - Interest in sports and familiarity with the Serbian sports scene Freelance, pay per article, long-term cooperation for quality work, flexible schedule How to apply: - Send a short cover letter (a few sentences - who you are, what you most enjoy writing about) - 2-3 samples of your work (links or files) - Your expected rate per article or per 1,000 characters The selection process includes a short test assignment.
